Grape type: Carmenère, inaccurately called Cabernet Franc
Production zone: Levada di Ponte di Piave, in mostly clayey soil with limited presence of gravel-textured limestone (“Caranto”).
Production technique: the grapes are harvested entirely by hand, and vinified with maceration for 8-10 days.
Ageing: in steel for 6 months, and then in bottle for a further 3 months.
Tasting notes: very pronounced ruby-red colour with violet edges; grassy, spicy aroma of red berry fruit; mouth-filling, well-balanced palate.
Alcohol by volume: 13 % Vol.
Acidity: 5.20 %
Serving temperature: 18° C.
